| Gerald John "Jerry" Reape, 57, a retired University of Idaho professor, died of a heart attack Thursday, November 27, 1997. After graduating from Ilion High School in 1957, Jerry attended Syracuse University. He later began a career in the U.S. Navy and retired as a lieutenant commander in 1981. He earned a degree in Architecture and Electrical Engineering from the University of Idaho. Jerry leaves behind his wife, Harriet Nortman Reape of Troy, Idaho. He is survived by two sons, James of Turlock, CA and Gerald of Boise, Idaho, a daughter, Lodi Price of Moscow, Idaho, a sister, Betty Manore of Goleta, CA, and a brother, Bernard Reape of Newport, NY.
